(aka Skittles, Skittlz, Island Zkittlez)

Genetics & History

Zkittlez, also called “Skittles,” “Skittlz,” and “Island Skittles,” is an indica cannabis strain that was created by fusing Grape Ape and Grapefruit with an unidentified additional strain. Terp Hogz and 3rd Gen Family collaborated to create this candy-flavored strain. In addition to placing in several Cannabis Cups in San Francisco and Michigan, Zkittlez took first place at the 2016 Emerald Cup.

Sight, Scent, & Flavour

This bud has large and lumpy pepper-shaped dark olive green nugs with sparse rich amber hairs and a thick frosty coating of tiny crystal white trichomes.  This flower has an intense flavour. The scent of ZKittlez is extremely fruity, reminiscent of sweet tropical earth with a little herbal undertone. Even better, the flavour has a sharp tropical citrus aftertaste that stays on the tongue for a long time after you stop smoking. Even while it is often mild in character, the ZKittlez are equally as alluring as their flavour.

Effects

It begins with a stimulating head buzz that makes you feel energised and joyful but not tense or overwhelmed. This is complemented by a soothing body buzz that gradually permeates your entire body, all the way down to your fingertips, leaving you pain-free and fully relaxed. Upon the comedown, you’ll feel a slight sense of sleepiness, but not actual sleep. Due to these effects, ZKittlez is ideal for treating individuals with inflammation, mild cases of mild depression, sleeplessness, chronic pain, chronic stress, or chronic anxiety.
