1st Time Smoking Weed ?

smoking weed

Here is what you can expect…

Cannabis, Doja, Pot, Dope, Weed, Green and Grass.

The Buds that come from the cannabis plant have many handles.  Marijuana is mostly used for recreational purposes and enjoyment. But an increasing number of medical professionals recommend smoking weed for particular illnesses and conditions.

You can Smoke it, Eat it, Vape it or Drink it.

The chemicals in marijuana have psychedelic effects on the body as well as the mind.

Although not likely, we are here to give it you guys straight!

Sooo, we have to mention that Doja DOES have the potential to be addicting and COULD be bad for some people’s health.

However, it’s not a physically addictive drug, really its more of a therapeutic herb with multiple health benefits- at least that’s how we feel… but each to their own 🙂

Effects of Smoking Marijuana

Well of course, You Can Get “High”….

The majority of people experiment with marijuana for this reason. The primary psychoactive component, THC, stimulates the area of the brain that reacts to pleasure, such as food and sex. Dopamine is released as a result, making you feel joyful and relaxed.

The THC in marijuana could enter your system quickly enough, if you vape or smoke it, for you to feel high in a matter of seconds or minutes. The THC level typically peaks after 30 minutes of smoking weed, and its effects can last anywhere between one and three hours.

Edibles, on the other hand are a bit different, they could take you a long time to feel the effects and even longer to feel sober again. So when ingesting cannabis(eating or drinking), especially your first few times, TAKE CAUTION and go slow guys.

If this is your first time smoking weed..

You may have some anxiety about what to expect, or some hesitation because you are unsure how it will play out.. and fair enough but fear not. This is quite normal and with a few common sense strategies, you can be sure smoking weed will be a fun and memorable experience.

Find the Right Product

First, be aware that any sort of smoke can harm the lungs and throat. Cannabis smoke carries some risk, including the possibility of developing lung illnesses, despite the fact that it differs from many other types of smoke.

Some medical conditions, however, respond better to the immediate effects of cannabis smoking.

It is possible to view the potential risks of cannabis use as a “trade-off” for the immediate benefits.

In certain ways, vaporizers reduce the amount of smoke. Benefits rely on the vaporizer’s calibre and the use of the proper materials. Polyaromatic hydrocarbons and other undesirable ingredients are commonly found in vape juices, and they can have a variety of negative health effects…

So be sure to purchase all of your vaping supplies (as well as cannabis-related products) from a Trusted Dispensary.

Pick the right place for smoking weed

To ensure your first smoking session is one to remember, it is super important that you are in the proper setting, both physically and emotionally.

Try to pick a time when all of your senses are in sync. Meaning, you feel good on all levels. Vibes are eh ok 😉

Next? Pick a location that makes you feel completely at ease. Since smoking in public is prohibited, it is pretty obvious that your home is the best option.

A trusted friend and companion is the next step, yes you have to choose them wisely too! Someone that you are comfortable with if you could pick somebody who has smoked green before, that would be an ideal choice.

Clear your Calendar

After your first toke, you might feel a little worn out. So don’t smoke before doing anything difficult, like driving or working. By practising the art of doing nothing, you can give your body time to assimilate the experience until the effects naturally subside.

Just so you know- Expect to feel an intense high, quick time…

Smoking weed

Be prepared for a quick hit because cannabis consumption by smoking weed or vaping has a more immediate effect than most other techniques. When you inhale marijuana, it goes straight from your lungs to your bloodstream and then to your brain. The benefits of tinctures and edibles, on the other hand, take longer to feel because they pass through the liver first.

High CBD/High THC strains work together to produce more “tempered” euphoric effects. Cannabis strains with a high THC content but little to no CBD have a stronger intoxicating impact. While still causing relaxation, calmness, positivity, and pain relief, strains with high CBD and low THC (or equal ratios of the two) allow the user to remain alert and attentive.

Be prepared to Bark (cough ..)

Anyone who has never tried smoking weed before should be prepared to cough when they inhale marijuana smoke for the first time. Even seasoned cannabis users often cough after smoking. The Flowers of the Cannabis plant (the bud) in particular, are plant material that contain moisture. The smoke produced after combustion will be heavy and cause coughing.

Along with the smoke, the ash that is produced causes people to cough too. Unfortunately, some people may also experience headaches as a result of smoking and coughing vigorously. IT’s not likely, but its a possibility, especially for your first time.

To “smooth out” the harshness (tobacco is dryer and aids in the burning of the cannabis) and increase the amount of THC they take in (because it burns better), European cannabis fans have a practise of mixing their marijuana with tobacco….this is usually called a “spliff” if its in joint form. It may not work for everyone but it seems to be a popular technique.

I suppose It would be reckless to advise a cannabis novice to combine tobacco and cannabis because the risks of doing outweigh the positives… but here is a fun fact as a beginner smoking weed, remember that blunt papers are created with tobacco, which means some customers unknowingly combine tobacco and cannabis.

While many people focus on getting high when using marijuana, there are other medicinal benefits that can be obtained without getting high. This is one reason non-psychoactive CBD has been recognised as a potential treatment for numerous diseases, including anxiety disorders.

You don’t need to get lit to reap all the health benefits that marijuana has to offer.

Understand What’s Up when Smoking Weed

Indica strains typically result in a “couch lock” or stoned, laid-back, drowsy affect. Sativas are prized for their more vivacious, talkative, and social “high.” While both types of strains can cause “the munchies,” sativa strains with significant THC content have an appetite suppressant effect.

One of the best things about cannabis is that even if you slightly overdo it, you won’t likely end up in the hospital. Common adverse effects of overindulgence include dizziness, loss of balance, and amnesia, but they typically don’t require medical treatment.

VERY Rarely, newbies may throw up or get paranoid. However, overconsumers typically doze off or relax for a few hours, or until the worst of the adverse effects pass, whichever happens first.

Just one puff at a time, taking it slowly, is the best way to avoid over-baking…

After smoking weed for the first time, you can feel relaxed or get an unexpected jolt of energy. Nobody can foresee your reaction to cannabis the first time you use it. However, some elements, such as the strain and THC levels, can provide hints.

Enjoy yourself and if your experience is good, hold off on smoking more until you are certain that the immediate affects have subsided. Smoked cannabis typically has effects that last for two to three hours, so before taking another puff, wait and see how your feeling. See how your tolerance is.. there is no rush !

While the effects of inhaled cannabis usually peak at just 10 minutes after smoking, some people still feel high up to eight hours later. Furthermore, a euphoric high can quickly devolve into a bad trip if you smoke too much cannabis. So, take the motto “go low and slow” seriously the first time you smoke weed.

If nothing else, when smoking weed remember this… You can always smoke MORE, you cannot smoke LESS.

Only you can decide if smoking cannabis is the best manner for you to consume it. Be honest when rating your experience and whether you like it. If not, try something else to see if it’s a better idea for you to ingest cannabis. For instance, if you found smoking to be too intense, consider sublingual or topical medications instead.

Overall, medical marijuana is one of the most effective treatments to date. Benzodiazepines and barbiturates, which are both available only by prescription, are much more potent and hazardous than cannabis.
